There are also many fine dining restaurants in hotels and in cities such as Melbourne and Sydney that charge between £40-70 per person.
Tipping in Australia is not as common as part of Europe but is always appreciated. Most restaurants do not charge service charge so if the service is of food quality a 10% tip of the total bill is deemed generous.
